Kryolan Hydro Mastic

Kryolan Hydro Mastic is a great product and can be good alternative to spirit gum as you only need water to wash it of.
Its great for sticking body glitters, use at children’s parties a costume rental.

How to Apply
Use a brush to apply Hydro Spirit Gum and allow to dry slightly before adhering the required hair or objects. Since this is a water-based preparation, Hydro Spirit Gum dries slowly. Warm air can be used to speed up the drying process. This product can be easily removed with soap and water.

I have read you can block out eyebrows with it, I have not tried this myself but here’s how to do it.
· Apply this spirit gum to eyebrows against the grain and with an eyebrow-brush brush hairs up and press flat against the skin.
· Powder with Translucent Powder for a matt finish.
· Apply Paint Stick makeup directly over brows.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

With the sun shinning most of the weekend was taken up in the garden, but  we did find the time to see the prince of Persia  the sands of time.

The story is of damned Persian prince  who gets hold of a magical dagger which can turn back time. This dagger becomes the centre of all interest and it’s the Prince’s duty to secure it from all evil forces. With him is the beautiful princess Tamina who also wants the dagger kept in safe hands.

Sorry did not like the film, maybe if you play the game you  might enjoy the film. It was full of holes and the story was week with lots of charters  , fighting , little story  and they all lived happily ever after as they could turn back time!

Tribal make up Contest

At long last  have found the time and entered  makeupbyglorias tribal make up contest.
I always have very good intentions of entering contests , but finding the time always proves to hard.
But a weekend of rain has kept me out of the  garden and here's my entry .
I wanted to keep things simple and not be to fussy . I used mehron fantasy fx. its the first time i have used this colour and i was not disappointed  , it gave a good strong colour and was easy to apply. I than painted the white with snazaroo and used a kryolan grease paint to outline .

Perfect day

Working for your self is never easy but today has been a perfect day.

up and gardening at 5.30 in my pyjamas  I love pyjama gardening .

At work at 7 all orders packed and sent to post office by 10.

Home for a cup of coffee in the garden in the sun.  followed by our local radio station coming round to do a interview with hubby and myself about our business and our plan to live on war time rationing in september.

A little more gardening and then I sat down in the garden in the sun and spent far to much money on make-up   for hallloween.

I have ordered so much and so many new products. 100’s of bottles of rigid  collodion , lots of latex ,spirit gum and remover  blood and some great fangs.

I am off to paint my face and try out some new products and will review them in at some point.

Clash of the Titans

The Clash of the Titans is set in the Greek city of Argos where a war is about to explode between man and the gods. Perseus (Sam Worthington from avaator ) raised as a fisherman, but is actually a demi-god.

 Perseus is the son of Zeus (Liam Neeson) who is about to take on the gods after the death of his family. Zeus' brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes) was the one who killed his family, and Perseus wants to kill him. However, it is Perseus's destiny to rescue the city of Argos from the ruthless rage of Hades and his Kraken monster. 

With nothing to lose, Perseus leads a band of soldiers on a quest to defeat the Kraken. In doing this, Perseus will prevent Hades from overthrowing Zeus and in turn destroying mankind.

The film was ok sam worthingon was very good but once he was riding around  on a  pegasus  it felt to much like avator.

It was worth seeing but maybe wait until its out on dvd .

Special effects in the film where good and I loved the make up for the witches.

lots of costumes  ideas from the film including the  kraken mask, beards,helmets, Armour and roman / greek costumes.
