I met mona through face painting chat she is a busy mum with 2 boys, i love her work and the way she makes painting fox gloves look so easy! see her you tube videos 

She has always  enjoyed painting as a hobby and attended a still life painting course in London and a painting seminar with Ros Stallcup.  she enjoys many styles of art especially impressionist and enjoy painting flowers.

New Brushes From Illusion

Every artist uses different brushes to create different effects.   This new brush collection reflects the high standards thatall face and body painters strive to achive.

Each of the 13 brushes  has a purple metalic handle and a funky name to describe it. The collection includes fine liners, large body brushes and some special shapes: rake, dagger and filbert. Some are sable and some synthetic.

Wolfle V Kryolan

I love my new wolfle essential palette and wanted to review it and compare it to my kryolan aqua color palette. 

cost wise they are about the same.

The wolfe 12 colour essential palette is plastic  and comes in a cardboard sleeve with a little instruction card.

The wolfe colors are bold and easy to apply and need very little water . the only thing I did not like about the wolfe palette was the plastic case.

The kryolan palette is also a 12 color palette  the colors required a little more water and where not as bold as the wolfle colors, although the brown kryolan was a much stronger color than the wolfle brown.

This is the first profile on my blog and i am going to start with one of my costumers Karen Gonsalves-Stone from KGS face art

I first meet karen when she called into work to buy  make up for portishead players. over the last year I have seen her business KGS face art  grow and karens  skills as a face painter improve .Karen can be seen at many events painting wonderful faces.

shrek forever after 3D

Loved the first film, not to keen on Sherk 2 and 3 but tonight I saw sherk forever after, it had all the charm and magic of the first sherk, my favorite characters where still their puss in boots, donkey Fonia and all the little ogre babies.
Sherk becomes bored with married life and makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin to get back to feeling like a real ogre again, but of course he forgets to read the fine print and is damned to a twisted version of Far Far Away where Rumpelstiltskin is king, ogres are hunted, and he and Fiona have never met he sets out to restore his world and get a kiss from his true love in order to set everything right again .
I loved the film I laughed cried and so looking forward to getting the green face paint out and making my own sherk!
